Who this program serves

Software engineers with at least two years of backend experience who will own infrastructure decisions — whether at a fintech firm, a logistics company tokenizing warehouse receipts, or a protocol team launching validators.

You should arrive comfortable reading network traces and writing integration tests. We do not teach introductory programming.

What you will build

Each cohort deploys a multi-node testnet that simulates partition failures, leader election, and state recovery. Your capstone adds a custom indexing layer that must survive a simulated regional outage without data loss.

Weekly structure

Weeks 1–4: Consensus fundamentals, CAP trade-offs, and hands-on Raft implementation.

Weeks 5–8: Replication strategies, log compaction, and snapshot recovery under load.

Weeks 9–12: Partition tolerance exercises, network simulation, and chaos testing.

Weeks 13–15: Capstone build: multi-node testnet with custom indexing layer.

Week 16: Final security audit presentation. You defend your design choices and patch findings on the spot.
